Big Dogs. Big Smiles. Big Mission.

This spring, get ready to meet some pawsitively giant new friends! Hope Heroes is hitting the road with five towering inflatable dogs—each standing 10 to 20 feet tall—and they’re popping up at lifestyle centers, hospitals, and parks all across Northeast Ohio. And yes, Crocker Park is thrilled to be one of their tail-wagging tour stops!

These larger-than-life pups aren’t just here to make you smile—they’re raising awareness for an incredible cause. Hope Heroes is on a mission to grow and support therapy and facility dog programs in local hospitals, bringing comfort, healing, and unconditional love to patients, families, and caregivers.

Why dogs? Science says they’re magic! Studies show therapy dogs can lower stress and anxiety, reduce heart rate and blood pressure, boost motivation, and ease trauma—helping people heal faster, one tail wag at a time.

Hope Heroes is the 2024-25 Junior Achievement Company launched by the Beachwood High School Marketing program, part of the Excel TECC initiative. This group of creative seniors from eight local high schools, led by long-time marketing teacher Greg Perry, is combining business smarts and big hearts to make a real impact in our community.

Because not all heroes wear capes—some wear fur. 🐾
